This is a short showreel of some of the motion graphics and character animations I created for Be Intent. These were for a variety of applications: onboarding videos, activity animations for quests, and some for use as part of the app's UI. These were fun because we were trying to find and settle on a style that was uniquely "us". This meant I got to experiment and learn loads of different styles and techniques. Shoutout to WiBits Fiverr for the awesome free chracter rigs!

M.E Quest design
M.E. (My Energy), is an eight-part seminar, or "Quest", for high schools. It is collaborated by Skylight and run on the Be Intent platform. It's designed to help identify and encourage at-risk students from the ages of 13-16 to learn more about themselves, boost their confidence, make friends and generally just be their best selves.

ACG Education to UP Education

While I worked at ACG Education, there was a rebrand/restructure where we split from the ACG parent company and became UP Education. We worked with a creative agency, who gave our design team of three the basic static logo along with a colour theme mood board. From that we were given free reign to create our own brand and brand guidelines using the new aesthetic.

Project Details
Being involved with a complete rebrand was an incredibly fun experience, and along with the examples you see here, we created multiple other assets for use outside the design department including things like Powerpoint presentation templates, and a full brand spec document.

I realized UX design was my calling when I discovered how much I enjoyed creating simplicity out of chaos. The opportunities offered to me to explore this type of design presented itself in the form of prospectuses, magazines, and infographics - anything where there was a lot of information to impart, and often very little space in which to do it. Shown here is a prospectus for a new campus of Campbell Institute: a school offering English courses for overseas students. The target audience meant that the content needed to be supported by simple, intuitive diagrams and images.
